When do you need aerial coverage?
Not every event needs a drone. You need one when: the venue is too large to cover from the ground, you want a comprehensive establishing shot, the event has a massive crowd moment (motorcade, gathering), or you want to highlight a building exterior. In these cases, drones multiply video value 5x.
Flight licensing — why it's legally essential
Unlicensed flight in Saudi Arabia is a legal violation with severe penalties. All our pilots are GACA-licensed, hold an official drone pilot ID, and carry professional liability insurance. We secure flight permits for every flight in advance.
Aerial shot types and best uses
Top shot vertical from above for moments like ribbon cuts, reveal shot starting on the ground and rising, tracking shot following a moving subject, orbit shot rotating around a target, and parallax shot for deep movement. Each has its right moment.
Equipment — amateur vs professional
We use DJI Mavic 3 Pro for cinematic 5.4K with Hasselblad camera, Inspire 3 for pro 8K with interchangeable lenses, and Matrice 350 RTK for precise surveys and engineering projects. Amateurs use Mavic Air with limited capability.
Pre-flight planning
Before any flight we run a pre-flight plan: aerial site study, safe altitude setting, take-off and landing points, deliberate flight paths, obstacle avoidance (tall buildings, power lines), and an emergency plan for signal loss.
Major event coverage — crowds and precision
For large events (5,000+ people), the drone captures shots no ground camera can: the entire crowd from above, event evolution over time, peak crowd moments. We fly at safe altitude (50+ meters) to eliminate any risk.
Real estate and architectural coverage
For real estate projects, villas, and commercial buildings: multi-angle coverage highlighting the architecture, hero shots for ads, long tour videos (60-90 seconds) for marketing sites, and 50-megapixel stills for premium print.
Post-production and final edit
Raw shots matter, but post-production makes the difference. Our team grades in DaVinci Resolve: cinematic color correction, additional stabilization when needed, music selection, and export in multiple formats (4K cinema, 1080p social, square Instagram).
