Visual Identity Design | An Integrated Visual System for an Enduring Brand
Visual identity is not a logo + colors. It's an integrated visual system governing how your brand appears at every customer touchpoint: from business cards, to the website, to ads, to packaging, to staff uniforms. A strong identity lets your customer recognize you in a second, even without seeing your name.
AOSS Media designs comprehensive visual identities through a strategic methodology: deep brand understanding (positioning, personality, audience, story), full visual system development (logo, typography, colors, icons, imagery, illustration), then a complete brand guidelines document ensuring consistent application across all materials.
We serve: major corporations, government entities, emerging brands, rebrands of legacy identities, and identities for major projects and future cities (NEOM, Diriyah, AlUla).

A cinematic timeline for every detail
Difference between a logo and a visual identity?
A logo is one part of a visual identity. Full visual identity includes: the logo in all versions, color system (primary + secondary + functional), typography system (headlines, body, captions), icon and illustration system, photography style, layout patterns, and application rules across all materials.
Brand strategy before design
Any successful visual identity starts with brand strategy, not design. We run a workshop with your leadership: Who are we? What do we offer? Who is our audience? What's our personality? What's our message? What sets us apart? These answers convert design from a taste decision to a strategic one.
Color system — beyond a color palette
We design a full color system: primary color (representing the brand), secondary color (for support), functional colors (success, warning, error), and tints/shades. Each color has Pantone, CMYK, RGB, HEX values with usage rules (proportion, contrast, avoidance).
Typography system
We choose 2-3 complementary fonts: display font for headlines, body font for long text, sometimes accent font for special cases. For Arabic brands we choose authentic Arabic fonts (29LT, 30sec, ParaType) with matched English counterparts (Sequel Sans, GT Walsheim).
Icon and illustration system
We design an exclusive icon set serving the brand (10-30 icons), an illustration style expressing personality, background patterns, and photography guidelines for selecting images consistent with the identity.
Identity applications — where it comes alive
Identity appears in reality through applications: business cards, letterheads, envelopes, vehicle branding, staff uniforms, office branding design, social media accounts, outdoor advertising, packaging, gifts. We deliver professional mockups for each application.
Brand Guidelines document
A 100-150 page document including: brand story, logo usage and misuse, full color system, typography hierarchy, layout examples, photography and illustration style, tone of voice, applied examples. This document ensures any future designer applies the identity correctly.
When do you need a full rebrand?
You need a rebrand when: the brand expanded beyond its old identity, the identity has become visually dated (8+ years), mergers or major strategic shifts happened, or the market changed and the identity no longer communicates with the new audience. A rebrand is an opportunity for strong repositioning.
